Christian Cowboy Fellowship

Cleveland, Texas

Pastor Bobby Trayal

Brother Bobby was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in the Aldine area.

At the age of 11, he started rodeoing & riding bulls. He still has a love of rodeo but today his sport is mainly team roping.

When he was 18, he met Nora and in October of 1983 they were married. They have one daughter at home, Victoria, who is 8 years old, an older son, Kenny Ray Trayal and an older daughter, Kristen Trayal Smith.

In 1991, he was called to the ministry, but did not totally surrender to preach until May of 2001. God dealt with him for many years molding him and getting his full attention. Once Brother Bobby got his life on God's path, he jumped right into the ministry in 2001and Christian Cowboy Fellowship was begun.

The church began May 19, 2001with 18 people meeting in a barn. After church they would fellowship and practice team roping. The church continued to grow and soon they moved into a building in Cleveland, Texas. Then, they purchased land and began a building program and in February of 2004, the church moved out to the new land where it is located today. Right now the church is adding on to the building and expanding for Sunday School & Youth space.

Brother Bobby says our main vision is to reach the country folk, cowboys & western world for the Lord. Also, we want to the make disciples and reach others for the Lord.

One of the ways the church is going to reach others for Christ is to build an arena for clinics, rodeo events and Bible studies. After the Bible studies they will hold team roping and barrel racing practices. He expects that the arena can be started on in 2007. They hope that non-Christians will come to these practices and many will receive Christ.
